Kuala Lumpur, 30 July 2025 — nanoSkunkWorkX (nSWX), a Malaysian deep tech company advancing graphene-based systems for semiconductors, clean energy, and biosensors, is pleased to announce a new investment round led by Gobi Partners and supported by Khazanah Nasional Berhad’s Dana Impak.
This funding marks a key milestone as nSWX scales its proprietary SUSANNE platform and nSD (nanostructured Scalable Devices) composites — enabling low-cost, scalable integration of graphene into industrial hardware without billion-dollar fabs or toxic processing.
nSWX focuses on three frontiers:
• Hydrogen (nSD-H): Rare-metal-free catalysts that deliver step-change cost and performance for green hydrogen production.
• Semiconductors (nSD-I): Advanced substrates to reduce thermal and power bottlenecks in next-generation AI and high-power chips.
• Biosensors (nSD-α): Ultra-low-cost, lab-grade diagnostics with applications in health, security, and beyond.
The investment will support upcoming field pilots, semiconductor sample deliveries, and biosensor programs, while strengthening nSWX’s connections through global innovation platforms such as MIT Startup Exchange (STEX).
