nanoSkunkWorkX (nSWX) is a Malaysian deep technology startup, founded by a former NASA Principal Investigator and a Wall Street veteran to bring high-impact nanotechnology to market, and make a dent in the universe! 

Our flagship product, currently in advanced development stages, is a next-gen diagnostics kit for COVID-19 having gold standard accuracy but at low cost, with near-instant results. The COVID-19 nanoRTK is being developed in collaboration with the Institute of Medical Research (IMR), under the National Institutes of Health (NIH) of the Malaysian Ministry of Health (MOH), and TIDREC@UM, the leader in Malaysia’s tropical infectious diseases research body and a prominent Higher Institution Centre of Excellence (HICoE) under the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE). 

We received seed funding from Kumpulan Modal Perdana (KMP), a deep technology venture capital firm under the Malaysian Ministry of Finance (MOF) and Malaysian Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI). We are grateful to have also received financial support under an High Value Added & Complex Product Development Programme (HVA) grant from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Berhad (MIDF).
